Just had a letter from Tesco HQ to inform me that they will be opening a Tesco Express store on the former Merry Monk site in July. If it HAS to become a supermarket I would have preferred Sainsburys, but would like to have seen somebody [Wetherspoons?] make a go of it as a pub again! Barry Dodd | |

Pig Roast and Band both days Should be a good festival weather permitting The Shoulder of Mutton, Grandborough, is now a free house proper after a period of closure and great uncertainty for it's future.
