Top Ten pubs
1.Golden Rule - Ambleside. Real fires and Hartleys XB to warm you after a day on the hills.
2. Fleece - Howorth. Full range of Timothy Taylors Beers including the glorious Ram Tam
3. Clachaig Inn. - Glencoe. Excellent range of Scottish Ales and Whiskies, real fires, food and entertainment to cheer you after a long day in the hills. Best pub in Scotland.
4. O 'Connors - Doolin. Superb Guinness and the best trad music to be found in this tiny fishing village on the West Coast of Ireland.
5. Old Stables Bar - Denby. 12 real ales from Leadmill Brewery, in this most unlikely of settings.
6. Sloop Inn - Porthgain. Brains and Felinfoel beers in a tiny fishing village on the South Wales coastal path.
7. Princess Louise - Holborn. Bargain priced Sam Smith's in this fantastically ornate pub.
8. Market Porter - Southwark. Great London local, and one time brew pub.
9. Old Crown - Hesket Newmarket. Cosy Brew pub in the Northern Lakes.
10. Monsall Head Hotel - Derbyshire. 8 real ales inc Abeydale Moonshine, and log fires to warm you on this windswept peak.
